About

Justin Creasy, smiling, in a dark quarter-zip jacket against a white background.

I am a designer who became a web experience and AI manager, and then a founder who runs two businesses with AI agents. Raleigh, North Carolina.

The first version of the job was graphic design. I spent a year at Stimulus Advertising in Lynchburg doing packaging, campaign artwork and the occasional website, which is where I learned that a layout is only as good as the worst screen it lands on. My degree is a mix of graphic design and sociology with a minor in information systems, which sounded scattered at the time and turned out to be the exact combination the work needed.

In 2022 I moved in-house and the questions changed. Not how does this look, but how many people saw it, what did they do next, and can we prove it. I learned analytics because I had to defend decisions with something other than taste, and I learned enough of the platforms to stop filing tickets and start shipping.

Now the title says AI, and the practical version of that is this: I build agents and automations that take the slow parts out of the work, and I use them every day to build things I could not have built alone five years ago. Shoptimal is a real Shopify app, live on the Shopify App Store. I decided what it does, how it looks and how it behaves. Claude wrote the code, and I reviewed every change before it shipped. Sayforth, a thirty day speaking practice app for iPhone, is being built the same way. I say that plainly because which decisions were mine is the interesting part.

Across my own projects I design in Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator, build storefronts on Shopify, and measure with Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Search Console. The software is built with Claude Code and ChatGPT, working to briefs, design systems and rules that I write.
